KODAK EASYSHARE C140 Dijital Fotoğraf Makinesi

The Kodak Easyshare C140 is my latest digital camera purchase and I thought it might be helpful to share some insight about this little gem. I was wanting to find a digital camera that would be a good camera for family vacations as well as basic picture taking. This digital camera jumped out at me primarily because of the excellent price, but also because it offered an automatic upload feature to YouTube. I figured I would give it a shot. This is my product review for the Kodak Easyshare C140.

The first thing I noticed when I got it out of the box was that it was loaded with extras. It came with a carrying strap, software, USB cord, and even a nice little pouch. I purchased a nice large SD memory card to go with the camera, as the internal memory was virtually nonexistent at the resolution that I intended to shoot. The camera also came with a pair of rechargeable batteries that were charged and ready out of the box. For good measure, Kodak threw in a battery charger for future use.

Once I loaded up the batteries, I took the camera outside and started shooting. The camera was pretty impressive even without any adjustments. The pictures were sharp and the large LCD screen was a very nice change from the tiny screens of other digital cameras I had used. The menus were easy to navigate, and the picture review was as well.

One thing I really like about the Kodak Easyshare C140 is the video feature. I was stunned at how good the video quality was. With a large memory card, I was able to shoot my kids playing for a solid thirty minutes at a pretty darn good quality. More than good enough for home movies, and that is great for a camera that set me back less than a hundred bucks. Also, the video was super easy to send over to my family and upload to YouTube.

The only downside I have found to the Kodak Easyshare C140 is that the focus and zoom capability is limited. You can set the mode to macro and get some pretty good close ups, but the camera does seem limited. Of course, the camera is not really designed to shoot professional pictures, so it seems almost unfair to bust it on technical aspects. The Kodak Easyshare C140 is a great camera for what it is intended to be.

If you are looking for a great camera that takes solid pictures right out of the box, then you could do well with the Kodak Easyshare C140. With a price point right around a hundred bucks, the Kodak Easyshare C140 is a great little gift for most any person that likes to take pictures.
